The principle of “Nothing is true…” applied to the process of knowledge acquisition allows forms of knowledge and their combinations, which deviate from formalist methods of interpretation, to move from solipsistic rigidity toward the necessity of an expanding perception.
Hidden knowledge is revealed through doubt: a gradual deconstruction of strict material reality - the image disassembled layer by layer - leads to a questioning of the very abstraction of its existence.
The work employs digital image analysis - frequency decomposition - as an artistic tool for investigation. A film photograph of wires gradually disintegrates into layers of information, moving from a material object to an abstract structure, and ultimately toward the disappearance of the perception of the visual signal.
